WIC@Work
is aimed at making the breastfeeding mother's transition from home to work an easy one. WIC@Work aids employers in creating a supportive breastfeeding workplace for postpartum employees. In addition to providing information to employers and employees, WIC@Work gives specific help and support to breastfeeding moms to ensure they can continue breastfeeding regardless of their work schedule. WIC provides pumps for WIC eligible participants and resources for moms not enrolled in the WIC program. A back-to-work packet is also available.
Sistah Connection
brings new African-American mothers together to connect and embrace one another as they begin their journey into motherhood. Sistah Connection meets during regularly scheduled appointments at local WIC offices. African-American women are encouraged to ask their WIC office if a group is available for them to join.
